THE FRICTION

A punchy excerpt can lose the question, caveat, or demonstration that made it useful. Editors then spend time finding the missing context and fixing the cut.

THE PRODUCT WE’RE EXPLORING

ClipBrief, in three parts.

ClipBrief is a proposed review workspace for choosing self-contained excerpts, checking them against the source, and preparing captions and formats for an editor to approve.

Three planned capabilities we want to validate with early users.

01 / PLANNED

Context beside each cut

Planned clip suggestions would link to the surrounding transcript so reviewers can check what was left out.

02 / PLANNED

Captions you can correct

A proposed review pass would flag names, product terms, and speaker changes for a person to verify.

03 / PLANNED

An explicit export decision

Planned approval states would separate a suggested clip from a final, reviewed export.

AN INTENDED WORKFLOW

A clearer next step.
Less work around it.

A focused approach for small content teams turning interviews, demos, and webinars into short videos.

  1. 01

    Bring an authorized recording

A future pilot would start with recordings your team owns or has permission to process.

  2. 02

    Review candidate moments

Compare the suggested cut with its source context, then adjust the start, end, and captions.

  3. 03

    Approve a usable export

Check the final framing and captions before downloading a clip for your publishing workflow.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few useful answers.

Can I upload or clip a video now?

No. This page only collects interest. Video upload, transcription, clip generation, and export are planned features, not a live service.

Will ClipBrief guarantee views or viral clips?

No. The proposed product focuses on an editing workflow. Audience response depends on your content, distribution, and many factors outside the tool.

Which formats and languages will work?

Pilot formats, file limits, and languages are still being evaluated. We will publish supported inputs and processing terms before accepting any media.
